Gillard & Co Bottle with Deadly Nightshade / Belladonna

Slipcast stoneware Gillard & Co of London bottle - another item found in the ground when my studio was being renovated!  The bottle has been split and once fired the unglazed bottle has been polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Deadly Nightshade / Belladonna sprig moulds which are glazed.  The rim has been drip glazed with metallic black glaze.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
