Teapot with Lily of the Valley

Unglazed slipcast stoneware teapot - originalled moulded from a local charity shop purchase - for added whimsey a tin can ringpull has been added.  Once fired the unglazed teapot has been split and then polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Lily of the Valley sprig moulds, which are glazed.

Black metallic glaze is added to the tin can ringpull and around the split.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
