Coke Bottle with Daphne

Unglazed slipcast porcelain Coke bottle with Daphne.  The unglazed bottle has been lightly damaged and once fired polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Daphne sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the rim.  Finally the damage is sewn together using recycled copper telephone wire.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
