Unglazed slipcast tin can, which has been split post casting.  The unglazed can has been polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Ricinus Communis (Ricin - the Caster Bean plant) sprig moulds, which are glazed.  The piece is also drip glazed around the top and the split in metallic black glaze.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
