Slipcast stoneware Gillard & Co of London bottle - another item found in the ground when my studio was being renovated!  The bottle has been split and once fired the unglazed bottle has been polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Lily of the Valley sprig moulds which are glazed.  The rim and the split have been drip glazed with metallic black glaze.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
