Teapot with Mistletoe

Unglazed slipcast stoneware teapot - originalled moulded from a local charity shop purchase.  Once cast the teapot has been broken open - once fired the unglazed teapot has been polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Mistletoe sprig moulds, which are glazed.

Black metallic glaze has been added to the broken areas.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
