Table Spoon Bottle with Ricin (v2)

Unglazed slipcast stoneware bottle, moulded from a vintage medicine bottle found in my studio when it was been renovated.  Once cast the bottle has been broken open.  After firing the unglazed bottle has been polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Ricinus Communis (Ricin - the Caster Bean plant) sprig moulds which are glazed (red seed pods and green shinto floating glaze leaves).

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
