Saucer with Death Cap Mushrooms

Unglazed slipcast porcelain saucer, moulded from an original found in a charity shop.  The unglazed saucer has been damaged then polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contrasts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Death Cap Mushrooms sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the damage and the rim.  Finally the damage is sewed back together using recycled copper telephone wire.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
