Jelly Mould with Death Cap Mushrooms

Unglazed slipcast porcelain jelly mould, moulded from an original found in my kitchen when I moved house.  The unglazed jelly mould has been damaged then polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contrasts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Death Cap Muchroom sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the damage and the rim.  Finally the damage is sewed back together using recycled copper telephone wire.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
