Honey Pot with Hemlock

Unglazed slipcast porcelain two-piece honey pot. The unglazed honey pot has been damaged then polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contrasts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Hemlock sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the damage and the rim of the lid.  Finally the damage is sewed back together using recycled copper telephone wire.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
