Small Tin with Ricin

Unglazed slipcast porcelain small tin, originally a present from France containing Sweet Chestnut puree.  The unglazed tin has been damaged then polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contrasts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Ricin sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the damage and the rim.  Finally the damage is sewed back together using recycled copper telephone wire.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
