Teapot with Fly Agaric Mushrooms

Unglazed slipcast porcelain teapot, cast from a teapot found in a charity shop.  The unglazed teapot is then polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contrasts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Fly Agaric Mushroom sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the damaged edges and handle.  Finally the damage is sewed back together using recycled copper telephone wire.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
