Hex Jam Jar with Yew

Unglazed slipcast stoneware hexagonal jar - originally a jam jar from my local Coop!  Once fired the jar has been polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contracts with the glazed elements of the piece.

Decorated with Yew sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the rim.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
