Teapot with Laburnum

Unglazed slipcast porcelain teapot, cast from a teapot found in a charity shop.  The unglazed teapot is then polished to create a pleasing eggshell texture which complements and contrasts with the glazed elements of the piece.

The teapot has been damaged and then sewn back together with recycled copper telephone wire.  Decorated with Laburnum sprig moulds, which are glazed, as is the rim and damage.

Each of my Pantry with a Threatening Aura pieces is unique and handmade.
